Jockey Skull

The Jockey Skull helmet is designed to provide jockeys with next-generation protection, available in two shell options: carbon fibre or ABS. Inspired by Voronoï technology, it retains temporal protection while adopting a clean, visor-free design. Available in Black Gloss, it features a distinctive dragonfly on the temporal protection.

Materials and construction

The shell of the Jockey Skull is made from high-quality thermoplastic polymer to deliver exceptional impact resistance.

In-molding consists of a polycarbonate sheet directly over molded onto the inner shell, creating an additional protective barrier between the outer shell and the EPS foam.

For the inner shell, the combination of the high-quality ABS thermoplastic outer shell and in-molding technology allows the use of low-density EPS foam, which is particularly effective at absorbing shocks.

Temporal protection

The Jockey Skull features Freejump temporal protection, reducing the risk of concussion in the most fragile area of the skull. This innovative protection spreads the impact over a larger surface and helps limit serious injuries related to trauma of the meningeal artery.

Ventilation

The Jockey Skull provides functional and discreet ventilation with three strategically placed vents: one at the front to capture air, and two at the back to exhaust it. This system ensures efficient thermal regulation while maintaining a clean design.

The interior lining is equipped at the front with an ABS half-moon (clipped onto the front edge of the inner shell) with two openings directing airflow into the helmet.

Safety and comfort

An integrated rib between the upper part of the shell and the lower temporal area reinforces the structure and offers crush resistance well above standard requirements.

The Jockey Skull is certified to EN 1384-2023 and ASTM F1163-23 standards.

The interior lining is made with high-quality Italian fabric to maximize comfort, breathability, and head support. The lining is removable and washable (30 °C, natural drying) for hygiene and comfort.

The Jockey Skull is extremely lightweight for unparalleled comfort (+/- 600 g).
