The 2994 Hackamore is a bitless bridle that applies pressure to the horse’s nose and slightly to the poll via lever-action shanks. The softly padded noseband can be adjusted via the bridle hooks, and the overall size is adaptable via the chin strap.
Unlike a bit, a hackamore is sized by the width of the nasal bridge, not the mouth. Measure around the nose about two fingers below the cheekbone. The hackamore should sit stable but not tight, with about two fingers of space under the noseband. If between sizes, choose the larger one for better adjustability.
