New English Double Noseband Bridle

The Dy'on Double Noseband is a specialised piece of tack designed to provide enhanced control and precision in managing the horse's mouth, making it particularly useful for horses that are strong, evasive, or tend to open their mouths excessively. The double noseband combines the features of both a traditional cavesson and a drop noseband, offering more control without being overly restrictive.

Double Noseband Design: This unique noseband consists of two straps. The upper strap functions like a standard cavesson noseband, while the lower strap sits lower, similar to a drop noseband. This dual structure helps keep the horse’s mouth closed without the harshness of a flash noseband. It prevents the horse from opening its mouth to evade the bit or cross its jaw.

Anatomical Shape: The noseband is often shaped anatomically to avoid putting undue pressure on sensitive areas, such as the horse's nasal bones and facial nerves. This ensures that while the horse’s mouth is controlled, it remains comfortable and free from pain or discomfort.

Pressure Distribution: The double noseband distributes pressure evenly across the horse’s face. The cavesson stabilises the bit, while the lower drop-style strap controls jaw movement, creating balanced control without being overly severe.
