The NEW 2.0 Helmet is made from cutting-edge materials to enable riders to enjoy the sport to the fullest and without constraints:

• Very high quality materials - polycarbonate, the material used for elite motorbike helmets
• Anti-scratch paint.
• Optimum airflow thanks to its unique 6-point ventilation system.
• Perfect fit: new integrated chinstrap adapted to all hairstyles, including the rider's bun.
• A perfect fit thanks to its memory foam/liner, ensuring a constant thickness over years of use.
• The semi-rigid chinstrap eliminates any risk of the helmet tipping over in the event of violent movement.
• The inner shell is made of variable-density polystyrene to dissipate the energy produced on impact more effectively.
• This internal comfort liner is removable using a clip system similar to that used on the 1.0 helmet, which is much more robust than the Velcro system.
• The liner can be washed as often as you like (max. 30°C), so you can always wear a clean, hygienic helmet.

Samshield helmets are designed to offer a close, secure, and comfortable fit, with interchangeable liners allowing for a more personalised sizing experience. Samshield helmets are certified to several leading international equestrian safety standards, depending on the specific model and market. These include:
ASTM F1163 – American safety standard for equestrian helmets
SEI Certification – Independent Safety Equipment Institute verification alongside ASTM testing
VG1 01.040 2014-12 – European riding helmet safety standard
PAS015 – One of the highest British equestrian safety standards
EN Standards – European conformity and impact protection requirements
These certifications test helmets for impact absorption, penetration resistance, stability, crush resistance, and chin strap strength to ensure rider protection in the event of a fall. Samshield also carries out additional testing with independent laboratories such as CRITT in France to exceed standard safety requirements.

For safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on riding helmets or any other safety equipment once purchased. This policy ensures that every helmet sold meets the highest safety standards and has not been compromised in any way.
