Prices

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the prices on our websites are accurate, prices may alter, either up or down. This also applies to the rate of VAT. If the cost of your order differs from the prices quoted, we will contact you either by telephone or email.

All prices shown are in EURO and include Irish sales tax (VAT) at the current rate.

If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the EC then our sales tax will be zero. Orders dispatched to EC member countries will include VAT. The current rate of VAT is 23%.

Please note that overseas orders may be subject to customs duty charges when entering your country. We have no control over these charges.

Any customs or import duty levied once the package reaches your destination country will be your responsibility.

Availability of goods

All orders are accepted subject to availability of goods. Whilst we endeavor to hold our full collection in stock, we cannot guarantee that goods will be available at all times. If an item is out of stock we will always give an indication of when it will be available.

Product descriptions

At Tailored Equestrian we take great pride in the way each item is photographed and described, so that we give as much detailed and accurate information as we can to help you with your purchase. Every care has been taken to ensure descriptions, colours, prices and measurements are correct, but we reserve the right to effect changes which we may not always notify you of.

Specifications may change from time to time for reasons beyond our control. Should you be unhappy with your purchase for whatever reason, it may be returned within 14 days of delivery for an exchange/credit note or a refund if the goods are faulty, provided that the goods are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging.

Colour reproduction

We take great care to ensure colours are reproduced as accurately as possible on our website and in our brochures. Variations in the colour settings on computer monitors and the limitations of colour reproduction may mean a slight variation in the colour shown on the website and the actual colour of the item. 

ORDERING & DELIVERY

How to order online at Tailored Equestrian

When you shop with us, we want you to have an online shopping experience that is second to none. To make it as easy as possible to find what you're looking for, or to simply browse to your heart's content, we have several ways to help you find your way round.

Navigation bar

The navigation bar will take you straight to the department you wish to visit. Click on one of the links on the left and you will be presented with a list of product categories within that department. Click on a category to see all the products available. Please note products may appear in more than one category.

Search

If you know exactly what you're looking for, ie: 'parlanti boots' or 'samshield helmet' then type it into the search bar and click enter. You will then be taken straight to a list of items that match your search term so you can make your selection.

Your shopping bag

To select an item that you wish to purchase, click on the 'Add to bag' button next to the product. Some items will also require you to choose a size and colour. You can then proceed with the purchase by clicking on the 'Check out' button, or you can continue browsing and shopping by clicking on the 'Continue shopping' button.

You can review the contents of your shopping bag at any time by clicking on the 'Shopping bag' button at the top right corner of each page.

Changing items in your shopping bag

To change the quantities of a product in your shopping bag simply type a new quantity into the 'No. of items required' box next to the item and then click on 'Update bag'.

Removing an item from your shopping bag

To remove an item from your shopping bag, tick the 'Remove item' box next to the product(s) you wish to remove and then click on 'Update bag'.

Completing your purchase

Once you are happy with the contents of your shopping bag, click on the 'Continue to checkout' button. You will be asked to give your name, delivery address and email address (for order confirmation and correspondence)

Making payment

You can pay for your order by secure online transaction with a credit or debit card.

Order confirmation

Once you have completed your transaction you will be given an order number. This should be quoted in the event of any query. You will receive an order confirmation by email to the address you have supplied and a further email confirming that your order has been dispatched.

DELIVERY

Deliveries Within Ireland

All deliveries within Ireland are delivered Free Of Charge for orders over €500.00. This is excluding custom orders, for which we will contact you directly. There may be additional charges for heavy goods. You will be notified directly if such a charge is necessary.

Delivery time: 1-3 working days

All deliveries in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK are with An Post or TNT.

Deliveries in the UK

All deliveries in the UK are subject to a carriage charge of €20.00. There may be additional charges for heavy goods. You will be notified directly if such a charge is necessary.

Delivery time: 3-5 working days

All deliveries in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK are with An Post, Royal Mail or TNT unless otherwise stated.

European Orders: Area 1

Deliveries within the EU will be charged at a flat rate of €30.00, an additional heavy item charge will be charged where necessary. You will be notified directly if such a charge is necessary.

Delivery time: 3-7 working days

International Orders

We export all over the world, all orders from outside of the EU will be charged on an order by order basis, you will be advised of all shipping costs prior to dispatching goods. All shipping rates will be charged as per the rate charged by the shipping company.

Please note that overseas orders may be subject to customs duty charges when entering your country. We have no control over these charges.

Delivery time: 5-10 working days

Heavy Goods

In certain cases, the above stated rates for shipping will not apply, for example, where the items ordered are heavy, oversized or of an unusual shape. Where this occurs, we will make every effort to inform you that it is not possible to ship the order for the cost shown and advise you of the adjusted rate of delivery. At this point you are entitled to cancel the order.

 

DESPATCH

Products displayed on this website are all available for purchase but may not all in stock at the time or ordering. Where goods are in stock, orders will be dispatched using An Post or TNT , within Ireland and the UK. Where goods are unavailable to order, we will endeavor to contact you immediately on receipt of order informing you of expected replenishment date for any goods ordered. Many of our products are held in stock and will be dispatched as soon as possible. Please note that this website is not stock controlled, so you will be informed if any products are out of stock and approximately how long it will take for new stock to arrive. Out of stock items will usually be despatched within 28 working days.

If you have opted for next day delivery, the goods will need to be signed for at the delivery address. It is recommended before opting for next day delivery that you ring +353 (49) 437 2987 to ensure your goods are in stock. Orders for next day delivery must be placed before 2pm, Monday-Thursday.

For all deliveries, it must be noted that a signature is required by the courier company at the delivery address in order for the goods to be handed over. Our courier will make two delivery attempts. If after the second attempt a signature cannot be obtained for the goods, a charge of €10.00 will be levied. It may then be necessary to collect the goods from our courier's local depot. If there is usually no one at home during the day, you may wish to provide an alternative delivery address, such as your place of work, where you or your representative can accept and sign for the delivery.

Parcels that are returned to us where a signature could not be obtained and where the goods have not been collected from our couriers local depot within five days will be subject to a €20.00 charge for the courier to return the goods to us. This charge will be made direct to your debit/credit card.

Tailored Equestrian must be notified of any breakages or damage incurred during posting and items missing from the original order within 24 hours of receipt of items.

Stock/Non-Stock and Custom Items

Under exceptional circumstances or demand, please allow 10-14 working days for Ireland and in general for overseas. We try to keep a number of products in stock but due to the high number of colours and sizes we offer it is not always possible to hold every combination and some delays may occur. For customised products please expect 4-6 weeks delivery as a minimum. Some disruption in deliveries may occur during the months July and August and Dublin Horse Show . Any delay exceeding the above will immediately be communicated to you.

Customised products including horse and stable accessories normally take 4-6 weeks. If you are under time pressure for a certain item please contact us upon ordering and we will do our best to help.

Parlanti Custom made Boots, Mini Chaps, Ankle Boots and Full chaps can take from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the time of year.

VAT

If you are registered VAT company within the European Union (other than Republic of Ireland) your order will exclude VAT; enter your valid VAT number when prompted in the checkout. Orders to non-EU countries are VAT free and when selecting the shipping country outside the EU the vat will automatically deducted.

 

HELP & RETURNS

We want you to be delighted with everything you purchase from the Tailored Equestrian collection. You may return your goods to us within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or credit note, provided that the goods are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging.

We only issue Refunds it items are deemed faulty. If you continue to use a product after finding a fault, it is assumed that you are accepting the goods in their damaged state and we will therefore not accept them as a return. If the items is returned as faulty, in some circumstances, manufacturers may wish to examine the goods for their own records and therefore, replacements may not be sent out until it is deemed that the original goods were defective.

Please note that the below items cannot be exchanged unless faulty:

  • Embroidered Goods
  • Parlanti Passion Ready made boots
  • Made to Measure Items
  • Bespoke items made in personalised colours
  • Special order item
  • Sale Items
  • Nathe Bits - The delicate nature of the Nathe material can mean that if chewed by the horse it may result in damage to the nathe mouth or in extreme cases breakage.

Goods are returned at the expense of the customer (as stated above) and an additional delivery fee is incurred for replacement items by the customer.

How to send Goods:

Contact us, indicating the reason for returning the goods and whether you what you would like to exchange the goods for or if you would like us to issue a credit note.

 Returned goods are posted at your own expense and we recommend that they are sent by recorded delivery. Proof of postage should be retained until you have received your replacement goods or refund.

Once we have received your returned goods your replacement goods will be despatched or your payment will be refunded by whichever method it was made, minus the postage costs.

This may take up to 14 working days from receipt of your returned goods. Should the replacement goods be out of stock we will contact you with an anticipated delivery date.

Returns from overseas must be marked clearly with 'Returned goods of Irish origin' to allow Irish customs clearance. If you do not follow these instructions and customs charge duty on the returned goods we will reject the parcel and it will be returned to you.

 

Tailored Equestrian Security & Privacy Policy

Security

At Tailored Equestrian our number one priority is the security of your personal information and we take every reasonable step to ensure our online shopping system is as secure as possible. This website uses a 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to transfer information from your computer to us. Your personal information is transferred and stored in an encrypted form. The padlock symbol at the bottom of your web browser during the payment process shows that the data transfer is secure.

Your privacy

At Tailored Equestrian we do everything possible to ensure our customer's privacy is protected at all times and we are fully compliant with the Data Protection Act 1998. You can access our website, browse its pages and add items to your shopping bag without disclosing any personal data. When you are ready to complete your purchase and click on the 'Proceed to checkout' button, you will be asked to provide some information about yourself.

What personal information do we ask for?

When you purchase goods we will ask you to provide your name, address, day time and evening phone numbers and an email address (for order confirmation and correspondence). You will also be asked for your credit card details, so your payment can be processed. All the information you provide will be transmitted to us over our secure network. We do not keep records of customers' credit card or bank details once the transaction has gone through.

How we use your personal information

We use the information that we collect about you for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. To enable us to do this we may disclose some of your personal information to reputable companies in order to fulfill your order or to process your data on our behalf. If you have ticked the box requesting information about new products or special offers, you may also receive correspondence from us by post or email.

Should you no longer wish to receive correspondence from us please email us.

Who we disclose your personal information to?

We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for any purpose other than for the fulfillment of your order.

Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies to record a unique reference number on your computer so that we can keep track of your order as you browse and place items in your shopping bag. Each time you visit the Tailored website a new cookie will overwrite the one from your previous visit.
